5th of seven children, I was brought up in adversity. When 17, I learned to self-finance my education. Guidance from Islamic teachings transformed me. The prism through which I saw the finance formed the key to change from a Banker by chance to Adviser by choice.
Ultimately, we all want the same things………live well today, prepare for an uncertain tomorrow and provide for our family as efficiently as possible, not compromising on Islamic values.

Iqbal Majid Shaikh is a highly qualified and accomplished Wealth Manager with a distinguished career spanning over 18 years in the financial industry. He was the founder of proprietary RIA firm Ethical Investments which is now a part of SenSage Financial Services Pvt Ltd. He is committed to delivering expert financial guidance and wealth management solutions.
Iqbal Majid Shaikh has a diverse educational background, holding a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), and a Masters of Arts (MA-Economics). Additionally, he has achieved the designation of Chartered Wealth Manager (CWM®).
Iqbal’s journey in finance commenced as a Relationship Manager – Equities with IL&FS Investsmart (HSBC Invest Direct). He honed his expertise in wealth management and advisory roles with leading organizations, including Way2Wealth Securities, BITS Portfolio Advisors Pvt. Ltd. and founded his proprietary RIA firm Ethical Investments.

Lubna Shabbir
Following her father’s legacy, Mrs. Lubna Shabbir joined SenSage, where she embarked on a decade-long commitment in the realm of investment advisory and financial planning. She was instrumental in establishing the first ever 100% sharia compliant investment advisory firm in India, using her expertise in Islamic finance.
She became one of the pioneers of SenSage, India’s first SEBI registered corporate investment advisor, and helped many clients achieve their financial goals without compromising islamic principles.
She holds a postgraduate degree in Islamic Finance from INCEIF, Malaysia and bachelors of commerce, and certifications in certified financial planner and QPFP(Qualified Personal Finance Professional). She is committed to providing comprehensive financial planning and staying at the forefront of the industry.
